University Writing Center

The University Writing Center offers one-on-one consultations and workshops for students from all disciplines, providing feedback and resources throughout the writing process—from pre-writing to final drafting. 

The University Writing Center staff is committed to sustained dialogue about and engagement with writing. Our goal is to guide students as they develop flexible and informed writing processes, strategies, and habits necessary to navigate academic discourse communities.

Appointments

We currently offering four types of appointments for all undergraduate and graduate students:

  • Face-to-face appointments, for in person consultations on any type of writing project
  • Online: Synchronous appointments, for online sessions with audio, video, and chat options
  • Online: Asynchronous appointments, for asynchronous, written feedback on drafts when you can't make in in person
  • Accountabilitybuddy sessions, for scheduled time to focus on reading, research and writing

You can schedule, modify, or cancel appointments easily through our online appointment system
